Hello from Kathryn & Steve
Hello and Welcome, we are Kathryn and Steve and we are proud to be able to share our perfect cornish bolthole with you. I (Kathryn) grew up in and around Penzance and Steve and I were married in Penzance Methodist Chapel on Chapel Street before moving to Oxfordshire.
We now have 2 grown up children now both in their 20s and Tide View is the start of our journey back to the place that's in our hearts and we are excited to finally put our little flag back in the cornish sand.
For us, and we believe many, our cornish hideaway is absolutely perfectly placed being just a few metres from the sea, and right in the heart of Marazion so all the galleries, shops, pubs and restaurants are within a 2 minute walk - including the chippy and the famous Philps Cornish Pasty shop.
You can watch the tide and decide whether its a walk or a boat ride over the causeway to the iconic St Michael's Mount, or just sit and watch the tide roll in across the bay. It's whatever you choose.
Listen at nighttime and you can hear the sea most nights, it's just beautiful and peaceful being there. We enjoy relaxing evening drinks on ourwest facing balcony as we watch the sunset which is magical.
BBQs on the beach are very easy, just a stroll away, as is walking your kayak or paddle board directly to the sea.

There's private permit parking available on a first come basis., but failing that Follyfields car park is only a couple of minutes walk away.
