Characterful period cottage with lawned garden, patio, and great sea views across Mount’s Bay.
It’s a lovely spot for couples, friends, and family. The cottage sleeps up to five with 3 bedrooms 2 King Size, 1 Single. The living room is a cosy den with a robust wood burner and the kitchen easily seats five. There’s a newly fitted bathroom with underfloor heating. Inside and out it’s a beautiful spot to relax in the evenings and enjoy the days any season.
The space
The property is a Grade II listed building, a granite cottage, beamed with original features (incl sloping bedroom floors) the cottage has been finished creatively with a unique combination of modern and vintage furniture.
A super haven in the summer activity of Cornwall, also warm and cosy in the winter months. Bedrooms are newly furnished with comfy Emma mattresses, Kingsize in both double bedrooms and the back bedroom has an exceptional sea view with the surf well within earshot at high tide.
The sea view fully equipped kitchen seats 5 comfortably with table extended. The door to the living room can be closed if your group want to separate television and kitchen chat.
The bathroom has been newly fitted with slipper bath, shower and underfloor heating.
The living room is warmed with a Danish woodburner set in original granite fireplace. Comfy seating for 5. Smart TV/ Bluetooth speaker/books/games and cards.
Relax on the patio with views of Newlyn lights, the castle and fishing boats on the bay.
South facing garden with spacious lawn where you can sunbathe and relax.

Guest access
10 minutes walk to family friendly sandy beaches/local coves. 10 minute drive into Penzance, with it’s newly restored geothermally heated Lido and exotic botanical garden. 15 mins drive to Newlyn with fish shops/award winning restaurants as well as beautiful sculpture garden. Head there early in the morning for the local catch. 20 mins drive to St Ives.
There is on street parking in the adjoining roads: on arrival there is a drop-off point beside the house. The centre of Marazion is a 5 to 10 minutes walk, with side lanes accessing beaches and quays serving St Michael's Mount.
Good local bus services run throughout the day between Marazion and Penzance. with bus stops a hundred yards either side of front door. (Atlantic Coaster, also stops here - open topped double decker serving coast path).
Note: Weekly passes are available for the main car park opposite the mount, £50pw. 15 minute walk home, you might consider it, so far we have not needed it.
